As Chief Compliance Officer of Advisor Resource Council (ARC), Angie Alexander oversees the firm’s commitment to integrity, transparency, and high ethical standards. She mitigates risk by ensuring regulatory adherence and fostering a culture of compliance across all operations.
Angie brings over 25 years of financial services experience, including 13 years at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas and more than a decade lobbying for investor protection reforms. She worked closely with the SEC’s Office of Investor Education and Advocacy, Division of Trading and Markets, and Congress to advance legislation safeguarding investors from fraud.
She also draws on her experience as compliance director for a large national Registered Investment Advisor, ensuring ARC’s policies and procedures meet rigorous standards.
Angie is dedicated to providing ARC team members with the education and support needed to uphold the firm’s commitment to clients with integrity and adherence to evolving regulations. Her philosophy: compliance should never hinder growth—“compliance is a team sport” where everyone wins when everyone plays.
Angie earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Texas Christian University, where she was a cheerleader and has remained a passionate Horned Frogs fan. She has raised over $3 million for the Alzheimer’s Association since 2021, serving as a top fundraising team captain and active volunteer for its Advocacy and Awareness Movement (AIM).
Fun facts: Angie speaks Japanese and is a Certified Yoga Instructor.
